Fall Favorites

Welcome to my blog today.

Can you believe its almost fall. The weather the last couple of days have felt amazing here. I am the guest designer again for Crafty and Green. Thank you Tina.   :) I have to say that I loved making this card. I got the inspration for my card from a follow crafter and you can so see her wonderful card here. Thank you Christina for sharing you beautiful card and giving me the idea for this card. 

 

So with that being said here is my version of this card.

This card base is cut at 4.75 inches -paper is from Close to my heart
The mat layer is cut at 4.5 inches and the paper is from DCWV Harvest Gathering stack
The next layer is cut at.. ok I dont remember. sorry

The 3 leaves are cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut cart from Close to my heart and you can find it here and they are cut at 2 inches. The leaf stamp is also from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cart collection. Its a stamp set that cames with the cart. The center leaf is stamps with a stamp from the Close to my Heart Card Chatter- Love stamp set and it say "Inspriation" over and over just randomly stampes. I used distress ink in fire brick, wild honey and tea dye on the leaves.

I then stamped the "You are my..."  and on the inside it simply says

For my "Happy Holiday" I picked Halloween. I love Halloween. I love the fall. Love dressing up and going around trick ot treating. I love coming home after taking the kids around trick or treating to a big mug of hot chocolate or tea and a big bowl of veggie soup or chili. After we get warmed up and ate, we go thourgh all the candy the girls get. I have been waiting for halloween since last year. I have always loved all the fall colors and decorations. In fact I love halloween so much that I have a The Hunted Pooh Village.  I cant wait for trick and treat and all the kids dressed as ghost and witches.

Here is what I created for this challenge:

The card base is cut at 4 1/2 out of white cardstock
The bottom layer is cut at 4 1/4 out of kraft cardstock
The top layer is also cut at 4 1/4 the paper is from DCWV Harvest Gathering stack
as is the strip at the bottom.
All Cuts are from the Close to my Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cart. Which you can check out here
The little witch digi or as I call her the Candy Corn Witch is from Pixie Dust Studio.
The "Happy Halloween" is from Cardz Tv Stamps "Happy Days" stamp set.

Am sorry I dont remember the measurments for this as I misplaced the paper I had them wrote on. I got the idea from pin on pinterest. You can find the idea HERE

All the paper is from Fancy Pants and it was the Fancy Botanical collection. I dont know if you can still get this I got it from a friend. Thank you ALICE ;) The only paper not from that collection is the plain cardstock and that came from Close to my Heart and you can find more here.

Back to School

Today am a Guest Designer for Crafty and Green. Thank you Tina for letting me be the quest designer today. Cant believe its Back to School time.

The theme was Back to School. :) I cant believe its that time of year. My oldest is in 2nd grade this year and my youngest is starting kindergarten this year. Over the summer we moved so we are in a new school this year and so far Katelyn loves her teacher and Emmalyn met her teacher yesterday and cant wait until next week when she starts. Here is a photo of both of my girls yesterday on Katelyn's first day.

 For my back to school project I made four cards. They are all 5x5 inch square cards. I love how they turned out. I colored the same digi 4 times each different. I was tring to color them to match the pattern papers. My plan is to give these the girls teachers with gifts when I get them done.

 

 The pattern paper is all from DCWV Grade School Stack. 

The pencil pixie is from Whimsie Doodle in the free section. :) I love that they have a free section. They have several adorable things there. You can find their website HERE

The different sentiment sayings are all from Cardz Tv Stamps Set "School Days". I Love Cardz Tv Stamps they are just amazing. You can find them HERE

For this card I used Cardz Tv Stamp "FAQ'S". This stamp set is becoming my favorite set I think. It's just a fun set.

For my Anything Goes project I was thinking Fall and when I think of fall I think of halloween. So I made this card using Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge. This was the first time I used this cart. 

The card is a A2 card. The witch and pot are cut at 3 inches. I used the argyle cuttlebug folder and the pattern paper is from DCWV.

As for the stamp I used its from Cardz Tv Stamps set FAQ's..
