Sometimes there are people that come and go in your life and then there are people that you meet for a reason. In the last few months I have met some wonderful people that I hope that will be a long lasting friendship. I cant wait to meet a few of them in the next few weeks. They know who they are. :) I cant imagine my day without talking to them and no matter what may come they always seem to be there for me. I just wanted to let you all know that I love you guys and thank you for everything.

Sunshine And Smiles

You should have came from
If not and would like to start at the top of the list please go to Erica's page at .Erica trying to get cards to take to St. Jude for the kids that are there. She is trying to reach her goal of 5000 cards. If you would like to help out please check out the information here

This is my card that I have made so far. I will be making more this weekend but I wanted to share this card with everyone. Its not your typical card (only because of what I used) that you would thank of. For me I think its just a cute and fun card. So with that I will now show you what I did.

I love the mirror. at first I didn't want to use a mirror, I was just looking for a mirrored like material. but I used a real mirror. A pack of 4 only cost me $1 dollar at Joann's. :) I then wrapped the edge of the mirror with the twine to make is a softer edge. *Tip I used Zip Dry to glue down the twine and the mirror to the paper.
The recipe for the card

The card base is Studio G I do believe. The hole was already punched out :)
The boarder on the card was from a 12 x 12 stack by DCWV which I think is called The Stack it has different themes tagged for you.
The flowers are from Create a Critter cut at 3 inches I do believe.
The inside saying was my hand written "Just to see you"
The sun and the base the I used was all from Imagine More Cart (don't remember the size)
The smile was cut from gypsy wanderings( don't remember the size)
The mirror and twine

I hope you like. Please leave me a comment. I love comments. Have fun hoping and stay crafty

"What's New" Blog Hop

So Whats new? Thank you Angie for hosting this blog. :) If you are just starting please head to . Angie had asked that we used at least a couple of new things or new to use and a new technique. :) Well I can tell you I did just that. I had just got a few new things that I had never used before and found a really cute idea. Let me just tell you I see making a lot of what I will show you.

My new items that I used for my projects
The Big Bite
Seam Binding
"Plastic Paper"
DCWV The Mod Retro pack
paper bags

That is the finished card that I made using all the new iteams listed. Now you might be asking what is "Plastic Paper". I will tell you I found a really great website and found this idea., I do believe this lady thinks of everything. You can find the video . I do have to tell you that I dont use an iron that often that this was a little tricky at 1st and make sure to do it on a surface that is heat proof. I wasnt thinking that and almost had a problem. LOL but the problem did go away.. :)

I really did like this idea. Tips I can give you is remember to keep the iron moving or you will melt the plastic. Make sure the iron isnt crazy like mine.. For some reason the one I have didnt have marked settings. but then again I cant complain it was in a box from Walmart that was $20. As you can see I also used just acylic paint to paint the bags. I used the basic brand from michaels. The plastic paper is also my new technique.  I used the pastic paper to make a cute little tag. The stamp I used was also new. I also dont sew and on this card I did. I cute the same patteren on paper bag and used the bag as the patteren paper material you would find when buying a pattern from mccalls or any of the other companies.

I also have a new technique for card folding. I have the photo up of the card already up on my blog but I will post it again. Just to let you know I found this card idea from

Thank you for hoping by. please leave a comment. Your next stop is Mary,

100+ Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

Thank you visiting my blog. And thank you to the amazing Erica for being the hostess of this wonderful hop. You should have came from Aman site :), If you didn’t please start from Erica’s site at
For my project I wanted to use 4 different cartridges, well I used 5 :). The cartridges that I used are Tags, bags, boxes and more, Walk in my garden ,Storybook, Christmas and the extra one was Imagine more cards. So with that let me show you what I did with them. Here is all 3 of the projects that I made.

The 1st on is going to be the Noel card

The black cardstock is by the paper company and is an A2 size card.
The noel was cut with the Storybook cartridge at 1 in using the shadow feature.
The brown, yellow and green paper was printed with the imagine.
The tree and the star is from the Christmas cartridge they are on the same key the tree is just shy of 4 in and the star is just shy of 2 inches.
Everything was cut using the gypsy.

Friends Tag

All Paper on this tag is made with the imagine.
Tag is from Tags, bags, boxes and more and was cut @ 7 inches
The RGB code for the color is 214-166-128.
Friends is cut at 5 ½ with the shadow using the Walk in my garden cart
The hydrangea is cut at 3 ½ from the walk in my garden cart
The butterfly is an icon form the Imagine more cards cart cut at 1
The buttons are from my stash and don’t remember who made them.
I inked the edges with timber brown stays on ink.

I just love the way that it came out.

And lastly is going to my the Hot air balloon card

White card base is from the paper company, card is a2 size
The stamp at the bottom is a stamp that was given to me and sorry I don’t know the company I used stays on ink in timber brown
The blue sky was done with studio G chalk ink
The clouds is a cotton ball that I pulled apart and glued on
The hot air balloon is cut using the Christmas cartridge it is the ornaments that is in the 3rd row down and the 5 one in.  And is cut at 2.41 by 2.87 I used the main and
the shift layer. The layer behind that is aluminum foil  I used standard crochet thread as the anchor line. The paper that I used for the balloon is Stampin up in real red, always artichoke, and kraft.

I Just LOVE this card. Don’t you?

Please leave me a comment. Also make sure to visit everyone blogs so you have a chance to win some candy at the end of the hop. Your next stop is Autumn
