My new items that I used for my projects
The Big Bite
eyelets
Seam Binding
"Plastic Paper"
DCWV The Mod Retro pack
paper bags
That is the finished card that I made using all the new iteams listed. Now you might be asking what is "Plastic Paper". I will tell you I found a really great website and found this idea. http://www.followingthepapertrail.blogspot.com/, I do believe this lady thinks of everything. You can find the video http://youtu.be/d9pe5oXYYxU . I do have to tell you that I dont use an iron that often that this was a little tricky at 1st and make sure to do it on a surface that is heat proof. I wasnt thinking that and almost had a problem. LOL but the problem did go away.. :)
I really did like this idea. Tips I can give you is remember to keep the iron moving or you will melt the plastic. Make sure the iron isnt crazy like mine.. For some reason the one I have didnt have marked settings. but then again I cant complain it was in a box from Walmart that was $20. As you can see I also used just acylic paint to paint the bags. I used the basic brand from michaels. The plastic paper is also my new technique. I used the pastic paper to make a cute little tag. The stamp I used was also new. I also dont sew and on this card I did. I cute the same patteren on paper bag and used the bag as the patteren paper material you would find when buying a pattern from mccalls or any of the other companies.
I also have a new technique for card folding. I have the photo up of the card already up on my blog but I will post it again. Just to let you know I found this card idea from http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2010/03/dawn-stampinup-howto-video-triangle-trifold-card.html
