Cardz TV Design Team Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cardz Tv Design Team Christmas Blog Hop. The hope will be for the whole weekend (Dec 17-18) You will want to make sure you start at the begin of the hop at Cardz Tv. This hop is going to be amazing. Am so happy to be on this wonderful team. I also wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone and thank you for hopping along with us.

For my project I made treat bags for my oldest daughters 1st grade class. This was the 1st time ever making something for her to take to school. I had so much fun making them and the best thing is the kids in her class loved them and so did my girls.
For the treat bags I used Cardz Tv stamp set "Holly Jolly" and I used the Create a Critter cricut cartridge. I did a play on words because the saying is "Have a holly jolly christmas" and the candy cane is a jolly rancher candy cane. :). Which is really good. Am just saying.
*Update- I have been reading my lovely comments and thank you all for the kind words. :) I have had a few people ask a couple questions. 1. The reindeer is on page 73 in the create a critter hand book. The tree is also in create a critter on page 33. (I hope that helps) and 2. The white back ground is cut from Cricut Craft Room Basic shapes or if you have the Imagine you can find it there in the preloaded shapes. I have both so either way will work. But for this project I used Cricut Craft Room. If you are new and find that Cricut Craft Room is hard to use check out this site Cricut Craft Room Blog. It really did help me.

I hope you are having fun on the hop.

Please be sure to check out  Mary’s blog(Cardz Tv) because she will be giving away Cricut Seasonal cartridge Gingerbread and Cardz TV Holly Jolly Stamp set for blog candy. Also Lynn (Sheree) has generously sponsored the hop with an adorable North Pole Collection paper kit from Crate Paper! Thank you so much Lynn! Thank you to both of you for these wonderful items. In order to win leave a comment at each design team members blog. :)
Here is the order list for the hop:

Please Forgive me

Wow I havent posted on here since thanksgiving. :( Am so sorry. I have been off my a game since around that time. I have things ready to cut on my gypsy just need to get them cut out. Tomorrow is a new day and I really do hope to have some new things to post this coming week.
I just wish my mojo would come back so I can create.

I must add that today weather isnt helping. I mean I live in Ohio and its almost 60 degrees in December. Really how wonderful is that. I dont like the cold weather. I quess having many years of really cold weather will do that. I also know that we are going to have a wicked winter because of the weather patterns now. Trust me come Jan I will be mad and miserable because of the cold, but today I will take the weather and just run with it. I dont want to think about cold and snow but because of the weather it doesnt seem like christmas time. I am having a hard time with getting ready for christmas. If it wasnt for my kids I would just skip it. Just Kidding.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I know that am ready for monday to be here since my girls have done nothing but fight this weekend. Until next time. :)

My Imagine-ation Monday @ My Cricut Craft Room

Welcome to a new Imagine-ation Monday @ My Cricut Craft Room. I hope everyone had a great Saturday and a Wonderful "Sunday". I know I did. Took the girls to the zoo on saturday and had a blast. So for today I made a very quick and very simple card. I havent added anywording yet. The reason for that is I dont know what wording I want to go with. I could use any number of things.

I could have used "Meet me on Sunday" or  "What to go for a sunday" or just "Sunday?"
For the card I used one cartridge for the whole thing. The cut and the paper is all from Yummy cartridge. I love this cart.

Thanks for stopping

You should have come from Pattie blog. http://sweetpsscrapbooks.blogspot.com/ . If you are starting at my blog, you will want to start with Kat’s Blog at http://katscrapfever.blogspot.com  so you don’t miss any of the great layouts. When you get done hopping, you will want to go to Erica’s Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/EricasCraftRoom) and leave a comment on her page. We will be randomly selecting someone from those comments to win blog candy.

For my layout I made a christmas themed one. Erica's favorite time of year is Christmas and I love to call her Santa Erica.

I love the way it came out and I hope Erica loves it. I know some of you might think what is up with the photo of the colors in the sink. This was something that Erica and I did. 2 girls having fun. Summer of 2011 for me was a blast.

November 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop- Day Two

My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Hop

Can you believe its the 1st weekend of November. With that it is time for the November 100 cricut cartridge blog hop. You should have come from Karey. If not please start with Erica I used a total of 5 carts. I used Sophie,Pasiley,Gypsy wonderings,Fancy Frames, Yummy. The top 3 things I made is going to be a gift for my neice who is going to be 16 in just a little over a month from now. I cant believe she is going to be 16.
The bookmark was cut from Sophie. and it is cut at 6 inches.  and the card is cut from Paisley and is cut at 4 inches. The pink butterfly on the card is also from Paisley and is cut at 1.5 inches.

This cut is from the Gypsy Wanderings. I cut this a total of 4 times. I did 3 layers of just white cardstock glued together and then the type layer in a print. I think I might cut this a couple more times to make it a bit thicker and add hooks or somehting to the back so it can be put on the wall. It was cut at 6 inches. All the paper I used on these three project was printed with the Imagine and come from the Yummy cartridge.

I have made the frame and couldnt decide on what to do with it. I want back and forth several times on what to do with it. I final gave it a home on this comp. book. The book that is covering come from I think is a value stack from dvwv. The frame is from Fancy Frames and is cut at 4 inches. I printed the base layer (bottom) of the imagine Yummy cart. and left the top white. the white butterfly is Martha Stewart. I found it at my Joanns. the ribbon I had in my stash and have always wanted to use it and I think it goes really well with this project. The book is going to be used for all my crafty ideas or card ideas I find on line and I want to try. I figured it would be a handy thing to have.
Thank you for hopping by today. Your next stop is Gayle

Theme Day Thursday @ Cricut Craft Room

Good Thursday everyone. Today is Theme Day Thursday at My Cricut Craft Room, Todays theme is Winter. I for one dont care to much for winter. Its to cold where I live, and last year it was a really bad winter. However with that being say I do think its pretty.
For today I made a card using snowflakes. I cant remember but am pretty sure that it was the christmas cartridge I have on my gypsy. I dont remember the sizes I cut them out at because I cut them between 1 and 3 inches. and then pick 3 for the card. I cut all of the snowflakes out of vellum and then used a light blue ink to give them some color and then added glitter glue.
Vellum and the glitter glue are so cool together I think. The vellum will start to curl up and do things when its wet from the glittler glue.

Have a wonderful and crafty day. be sure to check out My Cricut Craft Room for other wonderful creations.

Jen Digi Stamp.

Did someone say COFFEE??? Well its not even 6 am and am up and I dont drink coffee but I do drink Hot Tea. LOL What is with all the coffee talk if I dont drink any about. Well today Jen Digi Stamps has new releases all about Coffee. She has some really cute tags as well as some really cute digis who are drinking coffee. I used the digi with just the cup and muffin. Which is making me hungry. :)

Now do you see why its making me hungry.. It could also be that its 5:45am and I need to eat. For this I used Bic mark it markers to color the image in. The paper is from my stash and was given to me so I dont know the name.

To see more Ideas from Jens Digi Design team head over to her blog HERE . Now go get coffee you know you want some(or tea)

My IMAGINE-ation Monday @ Cricut Craft Room

Today is My Imagin-ation monday over at Cricut Craft Room. If I have never said it I will now I love my Imagine. For today I will show you some cards I recently made for a baby shower my sister was going to. She asked me to make 5 cards for her. Well I shared one a couple weeks ago, So today I thought I would share the other 4. Yes 4.
The onesie card was made using Lifes a Party card and all colors where printed using the imagine. Love that I can do that. I cut the main shape at 5 1/2 inches. I then used my white gel pen to add stich marks and a silver paint pen to add snaps.

This bear card was cute using the Baby Step cartridge. The card was 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 card. I used DCWV Nana Nursury baby boy mat stack. I inked the edges with Distress ink Stormy Sky. I cut the bear and all layers at 2 1/2 (I do believe) and the paper for the bear was printed using the imagine. the ribbon what dyed using a sharpie marker. which I threaded through a die cut using a cuttlebug die.

The sleeping baby was cut using baby steps. For this card I used my swiss dots cuttle bug folder to emboss the paper. I cut the baby and all layers at 1 1/2 and all the colors were printed using the imagine. Once again the color ribbon was colored by sharpies. Whats really neat about this card is the baby is on a home made action wobble.

This is my favorite card I think that I made out of the five I made for my sister. I used imagine to get all the shapes. The card is 5 in square card. That I once again used stormy sky distress ink around all the edges. The white elegant frame is from the cricut circle cart Sophie. the other white shapes are preloaded shapes on the imagine. The butterflies are from Martha Stewart as are the gems. The stamp in the center of the card is from Inspired Stamps.

Well that is a very long post and I hope you enjoyed all the cards I made. Until next time Stay Crafty
