Well let me just say Happy Blogaversary to Jo.
At the top I had listed all the stop for day 2. If you missed day 1, Head over to Jo's Scrap shack. Be sure you don't miss out on the wonderful creations from day one and enter to win some great things.

I will confess that I didnt even start my project till Monday morning. And still didnt have an idea what or where the craft project would take me. So... I work better under pressure which is the current song playing.

I did get my project done. I made an altered tin. This tin which I should have taken photos before and didnt, as just a tin that had chap stick in it from Christmas time. It was light blue with red. The first thing I did was spray painted it black. Then I took some crochet thread and wrapped it around the bottom part of the tin up to where the lid hit when its on. Then I did the same to the lid around the the top.
The top of the lid I did a sunburst arrangement. The paper is from a stack I found at Walmart. I then added and burlap flower also found at Walmart and a prima flower- that I received from a friend.

I plan to use this tin for my We R Memory Keepers Fuse tips.

I hope you enjoyed my project.
Unto your next stop.

Until Next Time
Stay Crafty
Amanda

  3. What a cute and clever little tin Amanda! I love the way you altered this, the papers are so pretty and the burlap embellishment is just perfect! See it is so fun to create anything but a card sometimes huh? And I'm thinking you should work under pressure more often :) This is beautiful! Thank you so very much my friend for participating in my 4th blogaversary celebration! It truly means so much to have you be apart of it with me. Our friendship is very special to me and I am glad you are in my life.
    Hugs,

  14. I didn't finish my project until Tuesday, either! Sometimes I think I enjoy the chaos created by looming deadlines. : ) Your tin is fabulous. Such a great way to turn something boring into something very cool.
