My Favorite Cartridge" Blog Hop

Welcome to Erica's Room "My Favorite Cartridge" Blog Hop

Welcome to my page. Hope you are enjoying this wonderful blog hop. You should have came here from  Heather at http://www.papercrafteranonymous.com/. If not and would like to hop along please go back and start here with Erica at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

The cartridge that I used for this hop was Locker Talk. A very fun and wonderful cartridge that is great for all levels of school from elementary to college.

For my project I made this little book for my daughter Katelyn to be a little flip book of some things from her 1st year of school.

I cut down orange and brown cardstock to 4x6. There are a total of 10 sheets. The inside is alternated colors.
On the front I used the Kindergarten image that is on page 72 and is cut at 3”.  Once again I stayed with the orange and brown combo. I also cut the circles that are on page 45 at 1”. I then cut that in half.  All the lettering in the year and name as well as the ABC-123 is all from Provo Craft stickers. I wanted the year to match but I didn’t have any brown so SHARPIES become my best friend. That’s right I colored the 2011 brown with a sharpie.  The ribbon is just some shear ribbon I found at Joann Fabric. The only thing is I took Scrappy Cat ink in orange that I found also at Joann’s to color the ribbon that once was white. I then used some Studio G glitter glue and added some bling. The inside has nothing inside yet.
Things I used
Card stock -The Paper Company
Printed paper – DCWV grade school paper
Shear ribbon
Provo craft sticker letters
Studio g glitter glue

new cards : Update

I made 2 new cards this weekend for challenges.
The 1st one is for the designed2delight ladybug balancing act digi. This card is a 3x3 card and I used some scrap paper that I had to make it. The flower itself was printed twice. I cut one out and used some popdots. I then used some yellow glitter glue(cheap stickles) over the flower. Its a really cute image. one that I will use over and over again.

This next card is for the card-ideas Lets hear it for the guys challenge. The digi for this card can be found at the owh website. http://www.operationwritehome.org/digis.html or at http://hambostamps.com/digishop/.

Update:  this is another view of the front. Can you see the wire. Hes really fishing now.wait to see the inside.
This is the inside of the card now. He caught the fish. Now I call that a good day at the pond. :)

My 1st Digi Challenge ever. I dont know how to link it back to the site but I shall try. :)  I made this card using an image I got from Delightful Inspirations Designs2Delight. The name of the image is "Garden Party". I really love this image. I colored the image using Prismacolor colored pencils. I used my cuttlebug on the green paper I then used some glitter glue on the bee wings, flowers and the cupcake. the yellow ribbon was once white and I used a yellow ink pad to color it. This card is a simple card your basic A2 size card. I hope you all like it. Thank you again everyone who follows me.

Cards, Cards, Cards

I think in the few short months that I have been crafting I can say am hooked or in this case I got the bug. LOL. I would love to update my blog and make it look really nice but I have to say I have NO idea what am even doing on this thing. I never thought I would have a blog let alone one that is on crafts. I will hopefully update this with some of my photos that I have taken over the last few years. Now on to the cards that I have been making. I have made a few and I love them.
This first one is a birthday card I made for my niece 8th birthday.
This card I made for my sister who broke her ankle and is on bed rest for the next 8 weeks. I found the image of the bear from http://coloringpagetuesdays.com/ . I love this site. Thank you Elizabeth O. Dulemba for designing them images.
This next card I made for a card exchange that I am in. I love this group. I love this card. this was the 1st thing I cut from create a critter cartridge and I love it.
This ladybug card is for my friends 30th birthday. It is a waterfall card and its the 1st on i made. She and I both love this card.
All my paper that I used on these are DCWV and the plain cardstack is the paper company I do believe.

Thank you to all for taking your time to look at my blog. Have a wonderful and crafty day.
